Aïda Colmenero Dïaz will present her solo Conxurando o Invisible

produced by the Group of World Heritage cities of Spain in collaboration with UNESCO, Conxurando o Invisible summons the collective body as living memory: a performative mantra of female voices that invokes respect, dignity, and connection with the invisible. a visceral homage to galicia, its roots, and its absences

the National Museum of Performing Arts, managed by the National Institute of Performing Arts and Music, is located in the Palaces of the Masters of Calatrava – an historic building constructed in the mid-13th century in Almagro

Candidate for the 2022 spanish Max Awards as best emerging author, Qué importa el abismo is a dance theater piece inspired in the poem by Iosune de Goñi, performed by Estelle Foli and directed by Aïda Colmenero dïaz. Here the tour dates:

Women in the Visual Arts award

5° Bienal de Mujeres en las Artes Visuales at

Thyssen -Bornemisza Museum 

Aïda has been awarded with special mention at the 5° Biennial of Women in the Visual Arts during the gala held  at the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum in Madrid the 12th of June 2024.
The Spanish artist was selected by the expert committee of the Biennial of Women in the Visual Arts of Spain to receive this award for her work in the field of the visual arts with her project She Poems,  a recognition of her career that is backed by a special mention from The Enaire Foundation.

Premiered in Spain at the Mercat de les Flors. in 2023, aïda colmenero dïaz company is invited to present the work 'kolochi baw' at the Pina Bausch Zentrum in Wuppertal as a national premiere in Germany and to carry out an artistic residency in Lichbturg, the historic space where Pina Bausch created most of her repertoire. This interview explores into the creation process of the work 'kolochi baw' and captures the passage of the company in Wuppertal, becoming the first Spanish choreographer invited to these two renowned spaces for the Universal history of Dance.
